Mike Figuero - I'm originally from Long Island, NY but I now live in Satelite Beach, FL. This is my second year racing with Super Boat International, but I've been involved with many types of racing for 30 years.

This year Team Red Hot Racing is putting together a new program and we will have a big surprise in store for the Superboat Vee Class. When we get to Clearwater, Florida, the 2013 National Title will be ours. I am looking forward to an exciting and competitive season in 2013. The Superboat Vee Class is one of the most talented group of racers in the entire circuit. To achieve all our goals for 2013, Team Red Hot Racing, will have to bring their “A” game to each and every race. This is a complete team effort from driver, throttleman, and our entire crew. So fair warning, beware, Team Red Hot Racing is coming for you!

Frank “Koolhand” Sarro - I've been involved in boat racing for close to 25 years. Originally from Long Island, New York, I have now settled in Satellite Beach, Florida, where I am a strong presence in the Marine industry. I have also been actively involved in real estate and property development. As the owner and throttleman of Xtreme Racing, established in 2001, I take my passion of racing very seriously. I have raced Checkmate, Fountain, 29 Extreme, 39 Phantom and Scarab boats. Although I am fiercely competitive, you won’t find any safer racing team on the race course. “What separates the men from the boys is not trying to win, but knowing HOW to win.

My career accomplishments to date consist of 4 SBI World Championships, 5 SBI National Championships, 3 SBI Florida Championships. Also in 2003, Team Xtreme set the SBI Factory 1 World Speed Kilo at 87.684MPH, which has not been broken in Factory 1. The highlight of my career was being inducted into the SBI Hall of Champions, an honor given to few racers in their careers.

I am excited to team up with Mike/ Red Hot Racing, for the 2013 season. Our team’s goal to achieve success will be hard work and diligence of our crew and sponsors.

Trent Weyant - Before anyone can even think about winning, you have to finish. That’s where I come in. Being apart of the Marine industry since 1988 in all facets from the actual engineering & design, manufacturing, selling, and repair, my job is to keep Red Hot’s 30 foot monster operational and set up to maintain peak performance. I originally hale from North Carolina and have raced anything I could get my hands on since before I can even remember.

I am one of the rags to riches stories of the offshore racing world. I started in 2000 as a boat washer while working and climbing every step on the ladder to being the team owner Driver & Throttleman of TnT Racing to the point of eventually having two boats in our stable. I had the great fortune of being apart of the Fountain and Venom Factory teams, Xtreme Racing, Simply Awesome Offshore, AMF/Miss Geico, Boating Responsibly presented by the US Coast Guard, Peters & May Racing, culminating with TnT managing the Formula Factory race team in 2010-11. Along the way, our team was able to win Four National Titles, Three World Titles, and was the first ever recipient of SBI’s Triple Crown in 2007. The Triple Crown consists of winning the National, World, and Florida Championships in the same season. My only personal accomplishment was being named by Poker Runs Magazine as “Performer of the Year” in 2006.

The above only scrapes the surface, but you get the hint that I surrounded myself with great teams. Mike and Frank approached me about the opportunity of being their Crew Chief and most people thought I was crazy for even considering getting out of a boat. Well after several discussions about their vision and direction, it’s quite the opposite. Wait till you see what Red Hot Offshore Racing has in store for this season and beyond. I won’t be brash and promise the 2013 National Title, but you can go ahead and call the trophy guy and tell him Red Hot’s Crew Chief’s last name is spelled W-E-Y-A-N-T!!
